To me, a sense of home is not defined solely by settling in one place. Rooted in my experience of living across different places, this work questions whether home must be tied to a single location and explores the different ways it might exist for me. / These questions take shape through furniture composed of multiple individual pieces. Each piece can stand independently or be joined with others to form a structure. The process of assembling and moving these pieces reflects my own experience of passing through different places and states rather than remaining in one location. / Numbers associated with the places I have lived and passed through are inscribed on the surfaces, recording experiences of different places in the same manner, without establishing a hierarchy among them. This approach to recording reflects the way I have come to understand home through moving between places. / The furniture is repeatedly assembled, moved, and placed in different locations. Through this process, I come to see home as something that does not remain in a single, fixed state.
