I observe the moment it vanishes and the sensation left behind. It began with a memory of the sensation of sunlight, which I had wanted to avoid, suddenly feeling the warmest. The moments that have passed vanish, but the sensations of those times linger, returning in the form of memories and longing. I looked at Collar Lily, bathed in sunlight. I reflected on the moment of disappearance and the time left behind in the curves and flow of the collar opening gently in one direction, and the image of leaves that remain even after the flowers have faded. Based on the impression received from the color, I created a softly flowing surface and surface texture, expressing it in the form of tableware that can be touched. As you engage with this work, I hope you can recall a sense that remains within your own memories. May the moments that have passed linger again at their own different temperatures, allowing us to slowly face the warmth and longing we had forgotten.
