2026 White sculpture clay, Onggi clay, Gold manganese glaze varies by work
We often read a person's taste or identity through their bag and the items it contains. In contrast, the process through which the current form of the city has been shaped is not given much attention. Starting from the shape of a bag, this work is created through the process of deconstructing and reconnecting a single form, just as clothing and bags are completed by cutting and sewing multiple pattern pieces. This joint visualizes the process of shape formation. Each container metaphorically represents the individual, formed by the accumulation of different fragments such as experience, memory, and taste. Rather than focusing on a single completed outcome, I want to highlight the traces of formation left within it and argue that the individual is also a piece of 'content' created by the accumulation of countless experiences and choices.
